Fishing for a forbidden fruit called humanism.

In future we can see kids fishing for humanism.

Last week ,on a Tuesday night as usual I sat down to check my mails, about what sort of links people are posting and the news of the day on in social networking sites as Twitter,Facebook ,Word-press & Blogger like where peoples heads are at, what the latest fuzz to follow and figure out.So we all know that word of mouth is the strongest form of marketing, whether or not you can call it marketing or just the way we interact with one another, and we see evidence of this all the time.Okay, well it’s kind of freaky and interesting sometimes.Whatever,I saw a lot of people & even Dalai Lama fussing & tweeting around about Human Values. For so hundred's of years now, Science, Technology, & Human Values has provided the forum for cutting-edge research and debate in this dynamic and important field. We owe much to the thinkers of ancient traditions, the scientific and social reformers from the Renaissance forward, and those of progressive thought who, in the early twentieth century.Even the thinkers and preachers today give only the worldly meaning of the word "human values", but none gives the moral, ethical ,spiritual & scientific import of the sentences. As asked by Sir Dalai Lama these questions troubled me too.The public is already thinking about this in terms of like what would happen if you took this step further and you also took a step back with the privacy of it.They were talking about it, but very few people were really doing it purely anything in practical. But what? That was the question.Yes,there must be a way of promoting human values without involving religion, based on common sense, experience and recent scientific findings.

At that time many thoughts revolved around my head. But doesn't this happen If we were thinking rationally, religion would not make any sense at all. So is our country really a civilized nation? What is man? This is the ultimate question, solve it and all of the needs of man will fall into place. Is he a divine creature, as the religious believe, created and protected by an ultimate being? Or is he an intelligent creature, as science believes, capable of understanding all through the power of his mind? Or neither, as the 'moderate' believes. Or is he an instinctive animal with intelligence, as the study of his origin and development would indicate? If we can understand this concept, only the latter theory has factual basis.

I speak from a Humanist perspective.I feel Man is an arrogant fool, with exalted opinions of his own worth and value. He is thus blinded by his subjectivity and becomes angry at anyone who he perceives to be trying to tilt his pedestal. Those who live by dogma, be they religious or liberal/socialist/Marxist, are unwilling to listen due to the security they feel in their beliefs.Today we run after all that is perishable, ignoring that which is immortal. What is the point of forbidding people to eat certain kinds of food and meat, killing animals for fulfill your stomach's desire, and when we all know that whatever is forbidden is tried again and again.People who eat flesh either eat or don't.It is just as a fire is covered by smoke and a mirror is obscured by dust, wisdom is also hidden by selfish desire. It merely means that others have the right to hold and practice their beliefs. This element of objection is important.I often get confused when i go to the interviews and these people ask me about my identity and describe oneself. I just tell them, “You and I are one. And that's all i know about myself.”Having realised this truth, life becomes much easier. You care about your fellow man, instead of trying to classify, quoting racial comments or demonize them with their identity, because they don’t think the same as you.

Today, there are concerns about toleration of religion everywhere.I personally, don't believe that we need religion to force us to behave peacefully.Since we cant make people force believe that there is actually no religion. The important thing is not to stop questioning.Man has become just another piece of equipment which needs analysis. Why? Because like any machine that was built with poor engineering and undisciplined construction, we too need repair or replacement.By his nature, man is curious. Curiosity is an instinct and is present in all of the higher animals. It is a valuable instinct for survival.Curiosity has its own reason for existing. So,the simple formula is to believe that all religions are equally true.To achieve and make this real ,we can avoid criticizing and comparing beliefs and claims of different religions and facts of science.Whomsoever we see, consider him/her as our own reflection.Human consciousness is nothing but the awareness.

Imagine if you were to start thinking for yourself, instead of quoting verses from books written by people hundreds or even thousands of years ago.The point is just mere knowledge of the alphabet cannot be called education.People today read many books without knowing the real meaning of the words.Besides knowing the letters, one has to know the meaning of the words and the sentences constituted by them. It is the moral responsibility of parents and teachers to disseminate the knowledge pertaining human values, moral, ethical and spiritual principles into a child. It is only by practicing these principles that you can know them, not merely by reading or writing about them. So,let us just not waste our time in vain gossip.Isn’t it high time we stopped the cycle and resolved to turn our world into a better place instead? If enough of us start thinking like this we can do it. But you have to want to do it.In short put these principles into practice in your daily life.We should develop those qualities which will bring us closer to each other.

But as soon as it occurred to me that it was a huge phenomenon in our social geek community. The problem of ethics is not to decide what is good and what is evil, but simply to predict how people will behave in given circumstances. It is only a branch of science, the science of behavior.Humanism is an attitude of hope that offers the real prospect of making the lives of those yet to come easier, more content, and more full of what we consider good. And,human consciousness is nothing but the awareness.Enter the world of quantum consciousness.Once we fully accept this,I think this understanding of common sense, experience and recent scientific findings can really help lead to stand us united.

Understanding the "civilized" man's Quantum consciousness. As a result, people would feel so much better because they would be helping prepare the next generation to make a useful contribution to the world and their fellow man.

Isn’t that something to aspire to?

A nostalgic trip to memory lane.

Just some time ago i got in  touch with many of my old school pals through social networking site Facebook. Thanks to Technology which has brought us all closer.Connecting with long-lost friends is like checking out those class  group photo session.Whether its Facebook , Twitter or any medium of social networking,it helped me to connect with good old high school,my teachers, principal and college friends who I had not  seen or heard from in decades. Its been a topsy turvy life for me all along. But suddenly i was  filled with life meeting them though virtually.Which later on became possible in practical too.Felt those butterflies fluttering in my stomach in excitement of hearing them.Really the moment is so nostalgic & lovely to be able to know & see how gracefully we have all aged and how  wonderful they all are doing!I found myself in the muddle of my long lost friends. It was as if some  sort of telepathic connection that me and some of my old...
